Harald André Ryen has in-depth knowledge of employment law, health, safety and the environment (HSE), pensions and general administrative law. He has extensive experience from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, where he worked on employment law, EU/EEA law and general administrative law. Ryen has international experience from the field of employment law through participation in EU/EEA and UN bodies as well as through assistance to international businesses and work on labour immigration.
In the Mageli law firm, Ryen primarily works on employment law issues, and assists both private and public companies. He has special experience and expertise in restructuring, business transfer and transactions, individual and collective employment law and pensions. Ryen also assists a number of municipalities within administrative law and health and welfare law.
Harald André Ryen also has extensive experience in assisting businesses in the energy sector, mainly power producers and grid companies. This assistance has included all parts of the business with emphasis on licensing, hydropower and district heating, following up framework conditions and the requirements for grid companies.
